Red Deer Family Service Bureau was incorporated

On June 29th, 1971, Red Deer Family Service Bureau was incorporated.
1967
January 3

New legislation resulted

New legislation resulted in a firm financial base for the Bureau. Its’ budget of approximately $4,300 for 1966 was increased to more than $16,000 in 1967.

Red Deer Family Service Bureau opened

After two years of study and about five months of intensive preparations, Red Deer Family Service Bureau opened its’ doors with one counselor from Calgary who worked one a week in Red Deer.

A Citizen Committee was formed

A Citizen Committee was formed and a need was identified for a public service in Red Deer
