The Home Support Program provides non-medical services to assist adults so that they can remain independent in their own homes. Basic home help and supports are personalized to meet individual client needs.
Our intake worker will visit to complete a free assessment and help to create a duty list. Services are provided by trustworthy and trained staff who will go to the client’s house weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. We serve residents of Red Deer and surrounding areas.
Who is it for?
Older adults; clients that need short term support after surgery; new moms, special needs. Clients can be referred by an organization, family members or self-referrals.
The visits are done during week days (no service provided on weekends and holidays)
Hourly rates depending on household income

“If the Home Support Program was not available I would have a very difficult time, since I am aging and have no family in the province, I will feel my health would be compromised”
