Building Incredible Babies Education & Cooking Drop in Groups
Education group you will learn about:
Nutrition
Breastfeeding
baby food making
infant massage
Guest speakers are provided by various community agencies. Breastfeeding is encouraged throughout the project. Moms who choose to breastfeed are supported in that choice by providing a grocery gift card to supplement their diet. Referrals to community breastfeeding support is also provided.
Cooking group provides:
Opportunity for moms to learn how to cook healthy, budget friendly meals. When available a registered dietitian will answer nutritional questions.
These groups provide moms with the opportunity to build their own peer network. Childcare & a snack are provided.
